Locoverter cannot refund purchases of software. Before you buy the product, we recommend you perform a test run to make sure that you will be able to use the product, that your DVD player will play the disk and that you will be able to read the print.

We have one page of the rule book below. Right Click on the picture and click "save picture as.." Save the picture to your desktop (or another location where you can find it later).

Now insert a blank cd into your drive on your computer. Use any CD burning software like Nero or Roxio to burn the picture to the blank disk. Make sure you use the video CD function so that your disk will be able to play in a DVD player. All software is different, but most have options that allow you to make a video disk that is viewable on a DVD player. This is the same procedure you would use to place your personal pictures on to a disk to view in a DVD player.
When you are finished burning your disk, simply place it in your DVD player. Remember, you will need the ZOOM function on your DVD player to read the fine print. If you can see the picture and read the print, you are good to go!
To download your copy of PDF Image Magic, click HERE. After you finish the download, install it on your computer. This is a trial version with limited functions.

You will need to purchase the full version license key by clicking HERE. After you make your purchase, the license key will be e-mailed to you.

After you have installed the software and purchased your license, follow these steps to get your rulebook on CD or DVD:

1. Go to your railroad's website and save the latest version of the rules in PDF format to your computer.

2. Run PDF Image Magic.

3. On the very first window that comes up, select "Enter Serial Number" (bottom right button). Copy and paste the serial number from your e-mail into the space provided and click the "Next" button.

4. Click the "Add Files" button. Go to the location where you save your PDF rules file. Click the file and click "Open." You should now see the file on the list in PDF Image Magic. Add any additional files in the same way.

5. Under Image Output Options, you will see Image Format. Click the arrow and click JPEG. You can adjust the JPEG quality bar to improve the quality of the images.

6. Click the "convert" button. Pick the location where you want to save your converted images. These are the picture files that you will be burning to disk. After you pick the location to save your files click the OK button. PDF Image Magic will now convert each page of the rule book to an image file.

7. When it finishes, burn the images to a CD or DVD as you did in the test run above.

You now have the latest rules available to play on your DVD player!

You will need to make sure that you check with your local railroad management to make sure this format will be accepted! Locoverter makes no claims that this format will be allowed by any railroad.

Due to the many different types of CD and DVD burning software, locoverter's staff may not be able to help you with any problems you might experience while making rulebook CD's. Make sure to do a test run before purchasing the product. If you can make a CD of you own personal pictures that will play in a DVD player, then you will have no trouble with this procedure.

Don't forget to get a locoverter converter to make sure that DVD player doesn't go dead!
